APOTHECOM ASSOCIATES LLC EARNS RECOGITION AT THE 2001 GLOBAL AWARDS COMPETITION


YARDLEY, PA — February 4, 2002 — ApotheCom Associates LLC, a full-service medical communications company, today announced that they were awarded 2 Finalist Certificates at the 2001 Global Awards. The Global Awards are an International competition organized by the New York Festivals, dedicated to the recognition of excellence in the healthcare communications industry.

The first Certificate, awarded for the brochure "Novel Cytokine & Therapeutic Strategies" was developed by Vice President, Creative Services Beth Swanson; Art Director Karen Amos; Co-Art Director and Illustrator Heather Wesley; and Copywriter Dave Egerter, PhD.

"We are proud to have been awarded these certificates," said Beth Swanson. "ApotheCom is a young company, and to have been recognized in our industry this early in our development is a tribute to our people and the quality of our work."

A second brochure entitled, "Conquering the Clinical Challenges of IBD" captured a second Finalist Certificate and was developed by Vice President, Creative Services Beth Swanson; Art Director Karen Amos; and Copywriter Deborah Dean, managing director of ApotheCom's Great Valley, Pennsylvania office.

Both Finalist Certificates were awarded in the Social Commitment: Healthcare Professional Education (Prof: CME Accredited Program) category.
