ApotheCom Europe Strengthens Scientific Offerings, Expands Therapeutic Areas of Expertise With Addition of New Director, Scientific Services
London, UK — February 2, 2004 — ApotheCom Europe, the European office of ApotheCom Associates LLC, today announced that Christine Drewienkiewicz has joined as Director, Scientific Services. Christine has more than 25 years' experience in international healthcare and pharmaceuticals covering many therapeutic areas, including 15 years of agency experience. She has wide-ranging experience in medical education and healthcare communications, with a particular interest in cardiovascular medicine along with in-depth, hands-on experience in this area, as well as in anti-infectives, oncology, respiratory medicine, and diabetes.
In her most recent role as Director, Scientific Strategy, and as part of the senior management group with Medical Action Communications (Egham, Surrey, UK), Christine provided scientific insight and direction for new business proposals, managed the company's medical writing and editorial teams, and was responsible for quality control of scientific content for educational programs. Christine also had direct involvement in several major accounts involving the areas of gastrointestinal disease, anti-infectives, and anti-thrombotics.
Christine brings a wealth of communications management experience to her role at ApotheCom, having also served in the position of Client Services Director on several large international accounts for which she implemented advisory boards, satellite symposia, and large stand-alone meetings, and managed publications and opinion leader programs.
As Director, Scientific Services at ApotheCom Europe, Christine will play an important part in developing the business of the European office and ensuring that programs are delivered to the highest scientific standards, meeting or exceeding the client's expectations.
