MEDICAL COMMUNICATIONS COMPANY CELEBRATES TWO-YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN BUCKS COUNTY - FURTHER GROWTH PLANNED
YARDLEY, PA — December 10, 2001 — ApotheCom Associates LLC, a full-service medical communications company with headquarters in Yardley, Bucks County, Pennsylvania recently celebrated its two-year anniversary.
The company, founded by Lawrence Lesser and Neil Matheson in October 1999, specializes in strategic medical communications such as physician/product advocacy, opinion leader development, strategic publications planning, and medical education programs. In addition to the Yardley office, ApotheCom operates offices in Exton, PA, Salem, MA, and San Francisco, CA. ApotheCom currently employs 103 people, with 60 at its Bucks County headquarters.
After relocating from their Langhorne, PA headquarters in December 2000, ApotheCom moved to their present location in building 1010 of the Lower Makefield Corporate Center.
"We have built an exciting new medical communications company, and our culture and style have attracted very experienced and talented people," comments ApotheCom President and CEO, Neil Matheson. ApotheCom hired 32 people in its headquarters office this year and expanded its office space twice during the same period. There are plans to further expand the Bucks County offices in 2002, with 12 people slated to join the company in the first quarter.
